How many students appear/apply for NEET exam every year?

According to NTA, 15,19,375 students applied for NEET 2019 (which is 14.52% increase from NEET- 2018). Among them, 14,10,755 students appeared in the NEET 2019 exam. Nationality-wise no. of students applied for the exam are : Indian - 15,16,066, Foreigner - 687, NRI - 1884, OCI - 675, PIO - 63.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is a single medical entrance examination for Admission to MBBS and BDS courses in all medical colleges (except AIIMS and JIPMER) around the country.
