1st year portion has 40% weightage in JEE Main, but it can’t be a surety. The examiners can surprise everyone, 1st year to 2nd year ratio could be 40:60, 50:50 or 60:40 in the exam. If you have time in hand, don’t even look at the portion of class 11 and 12 separately and prepare for all JEE Main topics with equal enthusiasm and dedication.
