All you need is time management and pattern of solving questions to increase marks in JEE Main mock tests. These management of time and pattern can be only achieved by serious dedicated practice and questions solving.

Tips to increase marks in JEE Main mock tests and exam

  1. Read the entire theory of any chapter/ topic before attempting the questions.
  2. Solve problems given in the coaching material or books and then attempt mock tests.
  3. For Chemistry, learn each and every detail given in NCERT.
  4. In Physics, understand the concepts and their application in problems.
  5. Give special attention to calculations and time management while solving problems in Math and Physics.
  6. Find the reason why you are getting low marks in mock tests. It could be due to lot of wrong questions, speed factor, lack of knowledge about questions and under preparation.
  7. Analyze the previous tests properly before attempting a new one.
  8. Make a notebook containing your silly mistakes, what went wrong, unnecessary calculations, time spent on solving the question, etc. Revise this notebook every time before any upcoming test.
  9. Work hard on your weak topics and concepts.
  10. Practice rigorously till you become expert in problem solving, the more you practice the better your speed gets.
  11. Talk to a teacher about your doubts and weak areas.
