It’s a tricky question (decision) for students and parents.
When to start coaching for IIT JEE Main?
There is no best possible answer for this. Ideally, foundation coaching for class 8-10 are beneficial to students preparing for IIT JEE, at the same time there are students who starts JEE coaching in class 11, join a 2 year classroom program, and clear JEE easily. A student can also clear JEE Main with only 1 year coaching in class 12 by putting lot of effort and hard work.
One thing to note is when we talk about IIT-JEE coaching for class 8, 9 or 10 students, it’s not about coaching as per JEE syllabus. It’s about building a solid foundation for JEE Exam, the development of your IQ, logical and analytical thinking. When you start JEE coaching early, you are always a few steps ahead of most of your companions.
If not started early, it’s recommended to join coaching in 11th class to clear JEE Main. When we enter class 11 their is a huge gap between the level of class 10 and class 11 which has to be filled. Students who join a coaching get good help from teachers and as a result it becomes slightly easier for them.
