Will the JEE Mains pattern change in 2022?

JEE Main pattern expected to stay the same in 2022. JEE Main will be conducted 4 times a year in computer-based (online) mode. Students will have the choice to attempt the paper any number of times. If attempted more than once, the best score among all the attempts will be taken into account while giving admission.

The new changes in JEE Main exam pattern.

  • Each Subject will have two sections. Section A will have Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will have Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value.
  • Section A will have 20 MCQs and Section B will have 10 Numerical value type questions.
  • In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 5 questions out of 10.
  • There will be no negative marking for Section B (Numerical value type questions).
