Are the 30% deleted portions announced only for Board exams or for JEE also?

CBSE, ICSE and many other Boards have deleted 30% portions from the syllabus. This is done for the convenience of students as they have not been able to attend regular classes because of Corona pandemic. However, the deleted portion will not be removed from JEE syllabus.

In JEE Main paper, the options will be provided to candidates where out of 10 numerical type questions in every section, a candidate needs to attempt only 5 questions.
